Is the author Enid Blyton or not?

When we house-sit, we are always told we’re welcome to go through their library and read any books we’d like to. I was looking through the bookcases here and came across the one in the photo. It looks just like a ‘real’ Enid Blyton Famous Five novel but the title totally surprised me. When I checked to find the publication date, it was first published in 2016. Further investigation led to the discovery that Bruno Vincent was the author. He wrote a spoof series of Famous Five books and was an editor and book-seller before becoming an author. Bruno Vincent was not the only one to write parodies and spoofs of Enid Blyton’s books. Others jumped on the bandwagon too. And isn’t that another interesting saying? Jumping on the bandwagon? Oh, and I thought I'd leave my feet in the photo just for the smiles I hope it will generate!
