New Management here Is Crazy

We have been under a tornado watch, thunderstorms, rain showers, lightning and we get a notice telling us if we don't sweep off the porch, they can evict us? Seriously?? Honestly I want the old manager back because these people are in sane, I'll be happy to sweep off the porch, but wouldn't it be better to do that when things calm down?

That just sounds weird... It depends on what it's doing outside whether I'd bother sweeping off the porch. (I would take pictures of the weather and the porch, just in case I had to go to court and sue the pants off the owners of the building.)

I have been, all that's on the patio is rain water and leaves from the wind, they gave it to several other people too. I really have no idea what there game is...

@Michellekidwell That's so strange. I don't see what the gain by alienating their renters.

Why would you sweep off the porch during bad weather.

That's very strange. I would think they have better things to do and more serious infractions to evict someone for.

It is strange, I've experienced strangeness before as a renter, but never over a porch getting dirty in a storm, they gave the notice to others too, odd timing of you ask me, considering what we are going through here...

We have new management for the little townhouse place I live. I hate to say it but it's true, the woman running it now is 23, has absolutely NO common sense, forgets to call repairmen, turns the office phone off because she doesn't want to talk to any of the people who live in this complex. She called me in November to say my rent was overdue. I informed her I had a receipt (we have to pay it online but I keep the receipts) and I paid it 5 days early, and if she had checked my records, she would discover I have never, ever paid my rent late. She checked. She did come to my place and apologize; she claims it was one of my neighbors. There should be some kind of common sense/can you actually read?/test that these people have to take to get a job. I think I would take your manager a tiny paper bag with like one tiny leaf or twig in it and say, hey, this is all that's out there. California is hurting badly and she is worried about sweeping a porch or two. Another idiot.

Yes, it's crazy, our manager is really young too, younger than my niece whose twenty six and seems to have an attitude we have to ask for a ledger because we were overpaying for over a year by about two hundred dollars and aren't even sure what our current rent is because it keeps changing...

@Michellekidwell Our company did that overcharging thing a few years ago and they got in trouble and had to refund a lot of us money. The amount changed every month, it was nuts.
