A resident who lives in San Antonio Texas whose name was not mentioned in the news report told the employees of the San Antonio Animal Care Services that he saw a coatimundi who is a racoon that is known is South America in his front porch last Friday afternoon.
The resident who saw the coatimundi has a heart of compassion when he saw the animal who would not harm anyone called the animal services to report seeing the strange animal.
When the employees of the animal control came to the resident who called them to inform them of seeing the coatimundi, they were able to find the owner of the animal which is illegal to own in San Antonio, they could fine him $2,000 dollars.
The coatimundi who is female will be sent to Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation Inc after the San Antonio Animal Care employees had a chat with the Texas Parks & Wildlife game wardens to take the exotic pet to a safe place which is the right act to do in terms in giving an exotic pet a chance to live a full life.

I am sure that someone who is employed at the rehabilitation center will adopt the pet.

@RubyHawk It is a shame that an animal like this coatimundi will have a tough time not being with an owner.

@Deepizzaguy They’ll have to find a place for him somewhere, but if they release him into the wilds where he belongs he won’t know how to take care of himself

That poor animal, I will never understand why people try to tame wild animals, it never works and causes so much harm to the animal. I am glad she will be in a wildlife rehab center even though she will never again be able to roam the wild.

It is bittersweet that the exotic animal will spend time inside of a rehab center from now on.

I hope that someone who loves animals and can afford to take care of the coatimundi since it would look nice for the image of the celebrity.

I am sure that the exotic pet will find a home with a loving owner in another state that allows exotic pets.

I'm glad the coatimundi will be handled by the game wardens and will have a proper place to live.

At least the coatimundi will be taken care by animal wildlife officials who care for the animal.
