Tiny Social Media Personalities

They say beauty is in the eyes of the beholder and l guess every child is beautiful in the eyes of their parents. Some parents however, capitalize on their toddler's attractiveness. First they post a picture on social media and before you know it that toddler might amass thousands of followers, followed by modelling contracts, photo shoots, advertising etc. The twins in the picture Megan and Morgan became a big hit after their mother posted their picture on Instagram. She gave them the name TrueBlue because one of the twins has blue eyes and the other ,one brown eye and the other eye blue. Do you think it is a good idea to expose a young child to a celebrity life? Would that child miss out on the opportunity of experiencing normal childhood things? Would you put your beautiful toddler on social media?

No, I wouldn't and didn't do that. I have a beautiful daughter. I'm glad she had a normal childhood.

@Kandae11 It's sad they lose their childhood when they're in the limelight like that.

I won't either. Children should be allowed to be children. Michael Jackson was thrust into show business from age 4. . When he turned a man he built a huge playground on his ranch. He was talented but seemed to be a very unhappy adult.

Wow that sure is noticeable their eyes! Absolutely beautiful little girls. I’m nervous about sharing photos of my children online except to those I know in person. We live in a scary world.

If I was lucky enough to have children, social media would be the last place you would find their photo.

I guess it depends on the degree o celebrity, and how it is handled. If they make enough money, their college and future can be set...so good and bad.

I agree . We would want our children to succeed in life and grow up to be balanced adults, therefore it is up to the parent to weigh the pros and cons and whatever is decided be sure that the child is well protected.

My youngest sister was a strikingly pretty child - green eyed, platinum blonde. I remember my mother trying to think of ways to make her NOT stand out so much - she was scared that she might be abducted. She decided to give her a hair cut, so her hair might not be so admired - it just made her curls more pronounced and she was even cuter.

My son was very pretty when he was a toddler and I was always scared to let him out of my sight, especially when friends and strangers would say jokingly that they would kidnap him. Things were a bit different in those days, but l doubt if the opportunity had come my way back then , that l would have posted pictures of him on Instagram.

I would never do that to a child. It's taking away their childhood. It's nothing but vanity of the parents.

@Kandae11 I think that’s what these parents do by putting their children on parade. Maybe they don’t realize the damage they are doing to the child.

Those are very pretty twins! Their eyes are gorgeous! I would post them and try to sign them to a modeling agency or talent agency. They would make a dynamite singing and dancing duo. Some kids have an it factor. I would love to see them use their talent. But I would have to watch over them very carefully.

What you suggest is exactly what their mother is doing. She supervises everything and l hope she is watching over them very, very carefully.
