My former students treat me at a nearby restaurant

Hi. Good morning from my end. It's 1:16am of January 15th.
Just sharing this that last Thursday, one of my students sent a message to me thru Facebook, asking if I'm available for Saturday at 5pm. And answered "Yes". According to her, she and her classmates wanted to treat me together with my assistants then in a dinner to a nearby restaurant.
I asked the occasion or the reason to celebrate. And she mentioned, nothing, just a plain dinner.
And after the dinner, they handed it to me a gift with box of chocolate baked brownies. Although, I am not a fan of brownies, but I appreciate it. I just ate one piece of brownies due to sugar issues. You know, what I mean. My sons and my wife ate the rest.
I love their effort. After the dinner, we took some pictures and videos as well then goes to the nearby house of my former co-worker just to have a coffee.
I enjoy a lot for their effort just to meet me. If I'm not mistaken, since I left my Librarianship career, we haven't met it again.
Is this a sign to go back to my Librarianship career?

That was so very sweet of them!
I have a degree in library science. As for whether you should go back, I think you should do what makes you happy.

I'm glad they thought highly enough of you to take you for dinner and a coffee.
Did you love being a librarian? If you did and you miss doing that work, then yeah, you should think about returning to that job or another one like it.
Of course, that's just my opinion.... you should follow your heart.

@DaddyEvil Yes. Honestly, I'm missing being a librarian and a college instructor. But of course, I need to reconsider a lot of things. I'm not practicing my profession for about 5 years already and also my license to teach was already expired. And I need to renew that.

@luisga814 Oh, I see... Will it cost a lot to get your license renewed and catch up on what you've missed?

@DaddyEvil Yes. That's right. Before I'll renew my license, I need to attend a refresher seminars to get extra points. Then, after getting extra points, I need to pay Librarianship annual dues, that it will be 4-5 years already, not paying it. Then, after paying the 4-5 membership annual dues, another cost for renewing the license. That's a lot.
