We are connected to all living things. You may think you are separate and all alone, but the truth is there is so much interconnection. When you feel alone, allow time for connection and communion. If there are no people around for good company, then be with nature: a dog or cat or tree or ocean. Good company comes in many forms. ~~~~ So, so true.

Yes, I do like hanging out with good friends, but really only one-on-one. But a good book is my friend. And I do love nature, especially the beach and ocean.

That is certainly very true. Being in the middle of nature or with pets is always good.

I do not think that it is all that simple. Sure everything affects everything else, and connection with others, allows understanding more of others too. But, the world continually changes; things disappear, nature can be both a friend, and an enemy, and we can be either its friend, or its enemy too. When we feel alone though, you are right, connection to nature, in one of its forms, does help, and then it does indeed come down to that simplicity, that our worries complicate for us way too much.
