this is my own harvest from my grandmother's house She has a petai tree that bears fruit every year and lots of it The map is very large and legit and usually my grandmother distributes it to each of her children I really like this petai because it tastes sweet and not too bitter and my mother immediately processes it into a delicious petai sauce Do you have a petai tree in your area too? or no one knows petai yet?

I believe those are called Stink Beans by Americans but the tree doesn't grow here, as far as I know.

I think we call them "bitter beans" here in Europe.

@DaddyEvil When I lived in the South of France, we had an Indonesian store where I went to buy a few things time by time. When I asked about some of their beans and vegetables, the funny guy used to tell me" do not buy, you European do not like that bitter stuff".

@cacay1 I think it is a big tree, but not sure, as it does not grow here.

Petai cannot last long at harvest, so they must be immediately distributed to the market so they can be cooked immediately.
