Presidents have it si tough. In 1789, when George Washington took office the salary for the presidency was $25,000 and he didn't get all the added extras the ones do today. It seems that that salary equates to $4.5 million today.
Things are a bit different today however with presidents since 2001 getting a $50,000 annual expense account, a nontaxable travel account of $100,000, and $19,000 for entertainment. They also earn a $400,000 annual salary.
What a life, huh?

Hong Kong's Chief Executive is getting an annual salary of about USD690,000 plus allowances. Hong Kong is just a city.

@celticeagle We, as taxpayers, think the salary is too high.
