Blue Skies and a Sunny Day (I'm a happy camper)

Happy Tuesday Everyone! the sun is shining and that certainly makes me smile. I'm so tired of dreary winter days. I'm going to enjoy this sunny day because tomorrow will be another stormy day with snow and rain.
I had a good nights sleep so I'm feeling more energetic today. Changed the sheets on my bed and have them in the wash. Instead of changing my sheets I'm just going to put them back on my bed when they're finished in the dryer.
I got two new sets of sheets for Christmas but I haven't opened them yet.
Today is my second oldest grandsons birthday and it's hard to believe he's 25 now. He's on a ski trip with his brother who had his birthday at the beginning of the month and they went skiing for his birthday. So now they're redoing the same trip. Sounds like a great way to celebrate his birthday and I'm sure they're having fun.
Aside from that there isn't much else going on today.

I miss skiing. I used to do that back in the day, but I am not much of a risk taker. Skiing can be intimidating. Day has been quiet and peaceful so far. The squrrels are up to shenanigans outside. They are really pretty clever. I might right about their "project" tomorrow.

I never tried skiing even when I was younger. All I could picture was running into a tree or breaking a leg.
All of my grandsons are adventurous and love outdoor sports.

We are getting snow. School was cancelled but things don’t look bad. My husband is working and so is my daughter.
I washed my bedding yesterday as well 
.
How nice they are celebrating his birthday today oh a ski trip.
I’m making chicken pot pie for dinner and a tortellini and veggie dish for dinner. I have some usual cleaning to do. The babies been asleep on my lap. I better lay her down now and try to get some of that cleaning done.

@Marilynda1225 oh I misspoke I forgot in the potpie I am using pheasant.
The roads aren’t bad here either but I’m not as high of elevation as other areas in the district that always get hit much harder.

Our schools were cancelled too today but so far nothing much is happening weatherwise. Hope all the hype is a bust and we don't get any of what they predicted.
Your dinner sounds really good. I love chicken pot pie

I did have my coffee but forgot to mention it 
I love getting into bed and smelling clean sheets. I wish I could do that every day but that's so impractical
I'm sure my grandson is having a great time and can't wait to hear about it when he gets home. It must be nice to be young!!

@Marilynda1225 Good! I was worried about you. Don't scare me like that. Coffee withdrawal is no joke.
My mother used to hang the sheets on the line. They always smelled great.
Being young is a long-ago memory now. I hope they had a great time.

Hope your storms don't get bad. Tomorrow looks like it will be a mess with whatever we get. I just always hope we don't lose power.

I didn't' think of that but I guess you're right. Seems I have more energy to clean or maybe the sun just makes it easier to see the dust and dirt??

You know my Tuesday just melted into Wednesday and I posted five articles to Vocal Media today so I can have time tomorrow to do my own blogging, I like to keep busy but the days seem to just fly, Glad your grandson is have such a great birthday, I remember those young adult years always had to be doing something and having fun,

We are having the same weather. Hubs and I cut back some tall ornamental grasses and plants. Our son came for two visits. 
Nothing better than fresh sheets! I washed the ones that were on our bed before we left for Florida and put on a new set that I washed before we left.

I don't do it often because I like to change the colors but today was sort of a lazy day and it was just easier. Sometimes I miss the days when I hung everyhing outside to dry

There are 200 school closings; but so far nothing in our area. It hasn't started s**wing here yet. Happy Birthday to your grandson. I just updated everyone on the basement flooding/water heater saga. We have someone coming out this morning to pump out the basement.

The sun popped out for a minute or so... It's overcast but bright at the moment. Maybe the sun will make another appearance today. I hope so.

You have alot of experience being a grandmother don't you?
I will soon have 1 year's experience, but not until this coming Sunday.
They say that Tuesdays are the day to fill up with gasoline, so after work today I went out to do just that.
They are sadly wrong, the prices at the pump only go up.
It is awfully damp and cold here, although the sun was shining. We are expecting a bit of a snow storm tomorrow I believe, but I would be surprised if it does not start tonight.
I have a nice beef stew in the oven for supper, that should warm us up.
This last quarter of beef I got alot of stewing beef, I asked them to cut and wrap just 6 roasts, otherwise, cut it up for stewing beef, so lots to be had, in the warmer months I will put them on skewers to grill, afterall, it is steak.
