Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 41 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. Apparently parts of the state are supposed to get snow today but luckily that does not apply to this area. It is another quiet day at work. Fine with me. It is such a struggle to get myself out of bed and to this place each day. I am beyond burned out. I have some good moments with the students but the days are still long and frustrating. I am eligible to retire with full medical after 2 more years. I never considered that option after getting divorced but I am starting to seriously consider it. The cleaning lady is probably at the apartment right now which will thrill Charlie. I know she is really struggling financially so I left some food in the fridge for her to take. She always appreciates it and the fact that she doesn't have to cook is a bonus. No big plans for the afternoon as per usual. I think I'll make the lemon pound cake that I am taking to work on Friday just to get that out of the way. What's everyone else up to today?

Being able to retire with full medical in 2 years might be worth considering especially if you're burned out now. You're so kind to leave food for your cleaning lady. Lemon pound cake sounds really good. Nothing much going on here today. Just waiting for the storm to hit

You will be so much happier, if you retire with full medical in two years. You will make the right decision, I know. Lemon pound cake, is one of my favorites!

I apparently got stood up for a lunch date, but that’s okay because (1) I’m used to eating by myself and (2) we were meeting at Chuy’s. Think it’s time to make like Rupert Holmes and plan my escape. My advice: RETIRE.

Medical is the major expense for people that retire early. Sounds like you have a really good deal in 2 years. Whatever you decide, I wish you luck. The sewer guy was here yesterday. I updated everyone in my daily post.
