Meowie was stolen again but escaped by jumping in the shallow canal

I'm wondering why are there bad and cruel humans. They're so obsessed to steal my pet. Meowie is 5 months old but handsome and chubby. They're so impossible humans. Why don't they pet a cat to make it their own.
This morning my neigbor picked Meowie in the canal and called us home. My pet reached his lawn and someone picked my pet. My neighbor stops the teenager but ran away. Thankfully Meowie found an escape by jumping in the small canal. He's so dirty and his white color turned gray
.
I'm cleaning Meowie with wet wipes and rubbing alcohol and he's so obedient. I can't wash him he dislikes water. I'm cleaning him for almost 2 hours now. His white color maybe restored next days. I pity my pet he's always the object of the pet stealers. I'm feeling so bad. I love my pet.

Dust him with corn starch and brush it out and he should be all handsome again.

@rsa101, we trained Meowie to be inside home day and night but in the day he's restless. He scratches our door to let him out so we let him but I keep watching his distance. His dirt is so deep until this day I'm still wiping him.

For Goodness sakes keep that cat inside. It clearly isn't safe for him out there. or if you must take him out out him on a leash!

It is a shame that some persons just don't care about stealing cats that do not belong to them since they do not know that karma will get them one day.

@allknowing thanks until now my pet isn't perfectly clean dirt so deep but a Mylotter here suggested with starch and brush dirt off.

@RasmaSandra, we trained him for 2 days now indoor day and night but in the day he scratches our door wanting to get our. We let him out but picked him after 45 minutes m
