It's a very good morning today. It's not to hot and the sun is out. On top of that, we had our inspection for our hot water heater. And, we passed. I know George was a little annoyed when I suggested we put the van outside this morning, but I didn't want an auto fail, if he happened to be in the bathroom or something when the inspector showed up. They will auto-fail you if they think you're not home. So, I avoid that. It means when I get home later, I can let Chilly have free reign of the house.

Because we own our home, and an adult over the age of 18 is required to be home and allow the inspector access. If you're say, renting, then you have matinee or management staff that fill this requirement.

Because we had to replace it and have it professionally installed. And, when you do that you need permits and you need to have inspections to ensure everything's up to code.

Yes, that sounds like a government employee: drives by, doesn’t see a car, automatically assumes no one’s home, drives on by without stopping or knocking on the door.

Yep. I was Not going to take that risk. So, I made the suggestion to my husband and he did it. I also think he secretly likes showing off our van, LOL. But, he likes we have a garage for her to sleep in, since car break ins tend to be a real problem.
