Guests are expected at Solitaire

After a long time guests for lunch are expected. The dinging table more a work table is cleared of all clutter.
Everything that is used for the day is dumped there as it is very convenient but when guests arrive the table is cleared.
I also have to clear the buffet table where, again, things are dumped that are used on a daily basis .
As I was clearing I just realised how many things are used on a daily basis.
What's it with you.

Have a good time with your guests.
My dining table is hardly used by us. It's only when we have a company or a party with few guests. For our daily meals, we sit around our Japanese style centre table.
In our house the dining area with the table is seen as soon as you enter. So, I always keep it clean and beautifully adored.

We have a biggish hall and so when we have visitors our dining table is hardly visible

@allknowing Hmm...here in apartment we can't imagine that. My living hall is also quite big compared to the standard apartment size but then dining area is just on your side as you enter.

We try to keep the house clean and tidy on a daily basis.

We too have a clean house only because we use the dining table for other activities it gets cluttered
