Stubborn? Who? Me? / myLot

The evidence would seem to indicate that, yes, I'm stubborn. Too stubborn to go see the doctor today, anyway. Does my rib still hurt? Some. Does it hurt as badly as it did? No. Did I rest today? No. Not as I should have. Before settling down to rest-ish here in my writing loft, we did a dump run, got breakfast, shopped at two stores, and then came home. But that's all, mostly. Alas, stubbornness, I never would have thunk it of me. Hope you all are having/had great Saturdays.

@DWDavis Most things will heal on their own, and you're only giving your doctor more money by going for every little bump and bruise. Now if it got worse and started to get debilitating, then that's a good reason to go.

I'm betting on it being just a bruise. Going to an immediate care clinic or the ER is the last thing I want to do with all the little nasties flying around right now.

@RubyHawk It runs about 50/50 around here. Sadly, we have a high proportion of antimask anti-vax types who are scientifically illiterate.

@DWDavis I know, and that's where all the germs are. Does everyone wear a mask going into emergency, doctors office or hospital? We do here.

@DWDavis I've always wondered why doctors poke you with vigour and then ask "Does that hurt?" I said one day upon being poked and asked that ridiculous question, "Only when you poke it, now will you stop". He had no sense of humour.

My regular doctor, whom I only see twice a year because his office is several towns away, has a pretty good sense of humor. He once told me, after a CT scan of my head, that they found nothing inside my skull.

My Saturday was spent writing at my PC and due to the cold weather we have been having in Florida my sciatica has been bothering me but I just hang in there feeling that stabbing above my leg on my left side, I know the warm weather will come and the pain will go away, I hope you have a nice Sunday and your rib stops hurting,
