This story is wonderful to show the good side of law enforcement officers who use their time efficiently to save the life of a cat that was standing on the side of a freeway in Lucas County Ohio on Wednesday.
Ohio State Trooper Lieutenant Katie Thomas was driving on Interstate 475 when she a small black kitten on the side of the road.
Officer Thomas went to see if she could get the kitten out of a dangerous place by stopping her auto and pick up the kitten who then ran away from the trooper and hid underneath her auto next to the front wheel when a bystander came to assist the trooper to pick up the kitten and place the kitten inside of the trooper's auto.
The kitten who is now being called Trooper was then taken to the Toledo Humane Society where a local family adopted Trooper to live with his new family.
Officer Thomas is being thanked on social media for her showing compassion of rescuing a lost male kitten on a freeway.

That is a good story and I wish the good police would start winning over the bad police. Kind of like country and world. Bad guys seem to winning over the good people. I am glad the good trooper was there for the kitty and helped also to find it a new home.

It does bother me that the news media just likes to paint all police officers as monsters since it is only a few rotten officers on the force that abuse the badge.

@Deepizzaguy I would agree with you but there is 100 bad videos of police to 1 good one on youtube, outside of shows like Cops. Reddit, many say its left wing but I see more good videos of cops than I do even on Youtube. Its not just the media and as soon as we realize the problem we can fix the problem.
Being a police man or person should be a badge of honor just like serving in military, but there is no honor when you abuse that. There is nothing to fight for if people are going to continue to destroy freedom and have I am superior to you and you do not even deserve to breathe our air.

@crossbones27 You have a good point that having a holier than you attitude is dangerous.

I think it is really wonderful to hear this side of law enforcement especially with some of the stories lately in the news about them.

It makes me sick to my stomach having the news media report the rotten apples in the force that ruin the good name of the good police officers.

Katie has a huge heart of gold toward kittens which is nice since it shows that the majority of police officers are good persons.

That is true since many drivers cannot see a small animal on a highway.

I am sure that Trooper will find a new home soon thanks to the publicity of this story.
