My automatic panasonic won't power on anymore. It had been 15 years using it. Never been repaired. Since it served very long time anyway and repair might be too costly. I read online that it is better or more practical to buy a new one than to repair in this situation.
But i read conflicting reviews on a samsung brand, a non inverter type with 6.5 kg load that cost $250. That power board is prone to problem. Some say LG is better. I feel like it's better to have the old one repaired after reading all negative reviews. But there are many good reviews also, though mostly from those who had been using them for not more than a year.

@Adie04 yes you can buy that on mall near you, i just don't from what country you are, but I'm sure you can find it. Just ask the appliance store

@hotsummer I wanted to look for the machine that can hot-drying the clothes, just like when we go to the laundry store. I wonder where to look for that.

@hotsummer Good choice. I also like this brand. Panasonic has a good fame in the electric appliance field.

I already have the new one. Panasonic . Like it . The features are the same with the old one. But this one has soft closing lid so it doesn't make noise when closing it

@youless yes it's good . My old one gives a loud beep each time you touch the buttons or when it alarms. But this new one doesn't have that loud sound, its sound is just enough to hear

Are you using inverter type. I watched vlog on samsung inverter type which does not spin too hard. But for me that is a good thing. I think it can still clean clothes well without that hard spin which can damage clothes

Parts to fix some things are very hard to find in some cases. My son waited 4 months on a car part. They hunted for used ones, no luck. I have a friend who sells used car parts, he junks them out and sorts and sells, has a business doing that. He says he hardly has any inventory at all, it's all been purchased. My neighbor went 6 months without a dryer, waiting on a part. Maybe it's not like that where you live, but it is here.

Possible that they do that here but I don't know anyone though does that kind of business. Indeed, getting a new part for a very old model can be very difficult

@MarieCoyle that's really terrible. It's hard to maintain cars though it's very useful to have one but the trouble

My son's car was only 18 months old. I think right now, the search for newer parts can often be as difficult as finding older ones.

You got your money's worth if it lasted 15 years without the need for repairs.
I see that you already bought a Panasonic inverter. Is it more expensive or less expensive than Samsung?

I bought a non inverter panasonic brand for 12k pesos or $215. I don't feel the need to buy inverter type as I don't think it won't save much on electricity. And the price, Its just almost same amount but like just $5 less than samsung non inverter also. This is just new model. I can't find any vlog on YouTube about it yet.
