Onboarding Day at Goodwill

This afternoon at noon, I had my onboarding session at Goodwill. I met Danielle for the first time in person before we met with the store manager Megan and assistant manager Jen. We went through the electronic paperwork, took care of direct deposit, and watched a short video. Both Danielle took notes and asked questions. At least the dress code is casual to wear downstairs. As for scheduling, I start work tomorrow to learn videos and start training on how to sort clothes this week. Next week, it'll be tagging and hanging clothes. The only day off I have this week is Thursday. I do work this weekend, so I canceled my first volunteered event for the zoo this year (by alerting them via email since I'm locked in), and work after church on Sunday. Then I have next Monday, Thursday, and Saturday off next week. So I'll be able to volunteer next weekend at the zoo. My first payday would be on 2/17/23. So I'll do a weekly report this weekend on sorting clothes when I'm back from work. I just have to play it by ear for my two mid-March zoo events if they fall on daytime. But at night, it'll be okay. Next weekend, I'll let Megan know about my two doctor's appointments I have this month on Tuesdays to give her notice ahead of time for my next biweekly schedules for late February. I'll be back later today to check in with notifications.
