Certainly not good

On the 13th of January this year, it's an unfortunate Friday for our older sibling. She's tripped on the floor of their house. She came outside where she bought onions from the store in front of their house and suddenly it happened. Her husband(an amputee) was not able to help her but a bystander from the store in front of their house managed to help my sister. Unfortunately, Xray revealed that there's a fractured bone and the ortho doctor suggested for hip replacement for her to be able to walk again normally. As of now, she's still in pain when she walk even with the help of a walker or crutches. Local public hospital offers free surgery but we need to source from other party the bipolar prosthesis that will be used for the operation. The said thing is very costly and as of the moment, they can't purchase it immediately as it was not long yet after her husband underwent amputation where they spent considerable amount of money. The caregiver (as what I called my sister) has now become the patient and that's the harder part. It's like a big part of the machine is losing. Even if the doctor said that the surgery is not that urgent, it must be performed the soonest to avoid complication. The situation is certainly not good and I hope that we can iron out this problem soon. I'm hurt seeing my sister like that and I hope that she will be bestowed by the almighty with more strength to handle the situation.

Goodness! One disaster after the other. This English saying comes to mind, "When it rains, it pours." I wish your sister and her husband a quick recovery.

Thanks for the kind words Ms. Judy. I'm also looking forward for her immediate recovery as it would be difficult for them to be on that kind of situation especially that they're both senior citizens.
