But where is the cradle these days? I do not see any. My mother used the cradle for her babies nine times and the same cradle was used for many of her grand children.
Today's generation thinks differently unless there could still be some who believe in the cradle.
The last lullaby I have heard around was "Go to sleep......."

Would you know.any? When was the last time you rocked a cradle?

You seem to be in the present generation and nice to know your household believes in the cradle

@allknowing I already gave the cradle someone else long time ago. One day I will be happy to cradle my grand children

@jstory07 How did you rock your babies in a bed that did not have that rocking mechanism?

I didn't use one because I had swings for the boys

@allknowing They make them for babies here. You wind them up and they swing

Probably around the time my late niece was living inside my late parents home in the early 1970s.

People don't use cradles now. They have swings that rocks them.

Going out of fashion is different from babies experiencing a cradle experience

@allknowing It is a good tradition. I miss the rocking chair days with Dustin. He also had a wind up swing he enjoyed.
