Claudia came for a morning visit so I did not write here. Before she came I was watching the heartbreaking news of how people have died and others have lost everything with the fires. And yet, today, 3 men were caught with paraffin drums. They said the were taking them for a barbecue. OMG!!! They are now jailed waiting for trial. But they are too dangerous to be left free while they are trialed. Anyone would understand that a barbecue does not need DRUMS of paraffin. And that now authorities, including the President, have asked, begged and ordered to stop doing that. So at least from my point of view, I don´t think that they are only stupid but also evil. Over 20 people are dead including some firefighters. And more are badly burned in hospitals. There is no reason to be "understanding" with those people.

I hope this ends soon

I wholly agree. If you want to have a barbecue, you might need some twigs and coal. But now it is not allowed to do that there. And nobody makes barbecues in the middle of the woods.

@marguicha We have what they call 'Total Fire Ban' days when no fires can be lit and no farm machinery operated or power tools used outside.

There´s no reason to find inocent a person that goes about with drums of paraffin in the woods when there are fires.
