How Come MyLot is Not More Popular Than Twitter

I mean even in old days when Twiitter was just a free website that you could share memes with family and friend. Twitter was more popular.than Mylot. You can make money posting here on Myloy and have fun at the same time. Now with the evil Elon Musk, Twitter can still be free but if you want people to see what you post, you better pay the 8 bucks. There is a another novel innovation Twitter is coming up with. This is according to people on Reddit and my sister says she heard about it also if that means anything. Twitter is going to set a amount of posts people can make each day with in its account. Once you hit that mark you are going to have to pay in some kind of tier program on how many more posts you can make in a given day. Luckily its in glitch so they had to put it on hold for a while. Dude, someone do some marketing. Mylot pays 5 dollars to make posts and comments. Twitter now asking you to pay to get your voice heard. Is this what they call crony capitalism?I actually say its fascism, but what do I know. How do you all want to live your life.?

I've read all about that too, and if I were on Twitter, I'd get rid of it in an instant. Perhaps some of that extra money that is being made can be donated to all the people who were fired. Grrr

Indeed, I cannot even get in to delete my account. Twitter is everything I do not believe in at this point.. The people who were fired will be fine. They some of the smartest people in the tech industry. The ones that are left are the ones they know are not the best in the industry, unless they are just trying to save Twitter from Elon Musk. That's a lot of abuse and think I would move on too. Sad but what it is.

@DianneN He does, and he is getting exposed. He more or less just a dictator. I do not know how to do anything you can but will yell and belittle you until you make me look good and keep me as one of the most wealthiest men on earth. So sad people tolerate that.

@crossbones27 I tried to delete my account after the one and only time I used it. I really don't know if it's gone for good, but I refuse to check. That Elon Musk has his thumb in too many pies.

Our myLot may not be as big as Twitter . . . but I think that's a good thing. The people upstairs have made it consistent for us . . . we don't have to deal or stress about any major crazy changes. We have our own little community here that works well . . . we don't want to get "too big" or the party just might get too out of control .

@crossbones27 Twitter is now ridiculed worldwide . . . we don't need that kind of exposure for our little cool world. Let's keep this place on the low down - our little secret .

@much2say Indeed, punk rock. lol I was looking for a cool song maybe I can find one. "Show me how to love when there is no one to hate." Damn, like they know people trying to make them hate each other.

I've never been on Twitter. I've posted reviews for myLot on several review sites but haven't noticed anyone saying they came here because of reviews they found online. *shrug*

I like My Lot better since we can express our views and learn new things. I am afraid that social media sites will now charge their users money just to express their views.

Yeah and that is just crazy to me since even survey sites will pay you a very small amount to get how you truly think about things. Nike does surveys to see if they being on the right side of things. I always find that funny, but they very successful and they do not really understand what the small folk go through and at least they willing to try to understand in some shape or form.

The bottom line? I am not sure myLot does much to market itself. And perhaps some of the members like the certain exclusivity they have here, and so they don't share about what they do here much. I am often a bit surprised by it myself. Maybe one day that will change? But who knows. It only gets bigger and more popular if the word gets out about it.

@porwest I agree with honest and sanity but there is a way you do it or you make people on the more ignorant side go postal. Remember that word when we use to say they done went postal. Probably because people were honest in a rude way instead of knowing what person was like so they did not shoot up the place.

@crossbones27 There is a big difference between "tact" and "lying," and I think what the world needs is actually the opposite of what you describe. The world needs HONESTY. The world needs SANITY. When people think boys can be girls that's nuts and people need to be told so. When the world thinks it is okay to teach children that white people are bad, that's nuts and people need to be told so. When the president is asleep at the wheel, that's nuts AND scary, and the world needs to be told so. I think we actually sugarcoat more than we ever did. Here and everywhere else. Nope. Honesty. Reality. And a harsh delivery. THAT'S what we need in order to pull people back to the real world and start being sensible again. And to get people THINKING again. VERY few people do that. Think. And it is ruining the world. Not helping it. Enough coddling and cow toeing to sensitivities and people who can't function in society who need puppy dogs to get through their day. This was once a strong country with strong people. Being anything less than strong only opens doors for us to be attacked by our enemies who become sure we won't have the strength to do anything about it. Americans used to be resilient. Now we seem to be more like mindless zombies.

Twitter is a dumpster fire, and I haven't used my account in years. I'm sure, if it survives at all it'll weather this storm. I like it better here, anyway.

I've considered Twitter a cesspool of political bs both left and right. I do have an account there and post my Etsy products there. There is a button to do that automatically from Etsy the same as several other social media sites. Prior to Elon Musk's arrival, I'd considered just shutting it down because it wasn't generating any traffic to my store probably for a couple of full years. As soon as he arrived I started getting a trickle of traffic from there again though. How that's happening I don't know. Not leaving but not planning to pay for anything either.

There is no balance, people not even trying to see the other show so to speak. It is getting tiring in that regard all this fighting over bs. I miss the days when most believed if it does not effect my life who cares. Let people live how they want to live as long as they do not impede on my life. I am the same way with Facebook. Saying I was going to delete it for years but has not hurt me none and find some of my friends to important to delete or would have a long time ago.

I use Twitter to post the articles I write up and also pass on some interesting things to others, However, If I have to start paying for what I post of course I will delete my account, For now I will wait and see, Do you know of any site where I can post the links to my articles to get them online?

You can do them on Facebook but I stopped doing that because it is for every person close to you to see what you wrote and started having issues. You need a neutral site where people will not say but you are supposed to think this way.

Apples and oranges. The two sites do not serve the same purpose. And what's all this hogwash about paying to be on twitter. It's totally free, if you want perks you pay for those, nothing wrong with that.

Do not start. I never cared for it in first place and had account though. I very rarely logged in so they always questioned my account anytime I did . I tried to verify it was me last time when Elon Took over and they never would let me log in so I could just delete my account. Oh well, saved me some time I guess.
