Happy weekend!

It's early Saturday morning here and it's my brother-in-law's birthday. My sister has been busy planning food all week and trying to find some of his favorites around town. I, on the other hand, am about to clean the house in preparation for our party with a few of our cousins later tonight. The balloons in the photo are from my nephew's birthday party last year. I'm hoping to find a birthday banner here somewhere without a dinosaur print on it. Breakfast is ready, maybe I should eat first. Good morning! What's your weekend looking like?

Your BIL will object to a dinosaur on his birthday banner? I bet he wouldn't... I'd think it was cute/funny if my daughter decorated at all for my birthday. (Usually my daughter and I both forget our birthdays until a few days to a week later. ) When we do remember them, we go and buy a cake to share from the grocery store. (This discussion does remind me that her birthday is the 22nd of this month, so thank you for that. )

Haha I'm glad you took the time to read my post. She'll be thrilled to eat her cake on her actual birthday this year. I'm crossing my fingers though cause there are still 10 days until then and you might forget. And it may be too soon, but happy birthday to your daughter in advance.

@MGjhaud I reminded her today that she's getting old... She didn't think it was funny, though. I set an alarm in my phone so I didn't forget this year. She'll be 35 this year. Thank you. I appreciate it.
