I was born in Atlanta. We moved to the DC area because my Dad was transferred here. President Carter's life is a beautiful example of a man who exemplifies what love and service are by serving others and his community well. We would do well to emulate his example.

You are so right about that. He was a real blessing to many people in his life. God bless him. I saw him in person when we were coming out of the American Embassy in London one day and my son was a toddler and ran right into him and he patted my son on the head and said 'lil fella' to him. His eyes were so blue and such a kind man.

I agree with you. He has had a long life and a good life. He is a man of faith so he probably will slip away to his Maker.

I agree with you that Jimmy Carter is a very good person who shows compassion for persons who need his services after his work as our President ended in 1981.
