Jason Davis who is the owner of the Crosswinds Ranch in Comanche Texas called up the Comanche Volunteer Fire Department to rescue a calf that fell down a century old well on Friday.
The Comanche Volunteer Fire Department attempted to use a ladder to rescue the calf but the ladder was not long enough to rescue the calf.
The backup plan was that the firefighters would use Jason's skid-steer adjustable arm as a pulley with the winch and cable from the firetruck to lift the calf out of the well and into safety with one firefighter named Martjin Verschueren climbing down the well to rescue the calf.
The calf came out of the well in good health. Jason is grateful that the firerighters recued his calf.

I am in agreement with you that the calf was rescued by the firefighters and the use of Jason' skid-steer adjustable arm.

@RubyHawk That is true since the adjustable arm came in handy to rescue.

Most likely the calf walked into the well since it was dark outside and the calf could not see where the well was located.

@Adie04 I guess some animals like owls are not known for having good eyesight at night since they have been known for getting hit by cars on the road from time to time.

@Deepizzaguy Oh I see.... I thought all animals have good eyesight especially in dark.
