25 February - What I'm Thankful for Today

It was a good day today. I know, I say that every day. It was. What can I say? I woke up this morning to find it snowing, just as they said it would.
I am thankful I got up early this morning and got the laundry into the washer just after 4 AM. I had it out of the dryer by six. I only had sheets and towels and what I wore the last two days. It's all folded, hung up, and put away right after I got my Bible study done.
I'm thankful I took the garbage down, and then walked through the underground garage and the three floors before I made breakfast.
I'm thankful I had the apartment looking great by the time my friend showed up, right when she said she would.
I'm thankful for my friend who was willing to come and clean my bathroom, primarily the tub as I can't get on my knees anymore or do any bending. She also did the mirror over my sink. There's no way I can reach the top, but she's tall enough to reach it.
She really loves the apartment. She had been to my other apartment many times and saw how big this is compared to the other one. I also gave her a grand tour of the building, showing her the community room and the two lounges on the second and third floors.
I'm thankful she bought a copy of Vendetta. She read Thread of Evidence and can't wait to read the sequel.
I'm thankful I met my step goal this afternoon after another circuit of the hallways.
I'm thankful the notifications are finished. When I came back on just now, I see myLot has been deserted since I left. There are only three notifications in my inbox.
Everyone must be enjoying a wonderful Saturday.
I'm thankful I got three chapters done today on Where Eagles Soar. It's coming along well. I should be finished with this edit in March and can begin the publishing process. It means I need to light a flame under my son and his girlfriend for the book cover.
Okay, that's my day. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

So nice to have a roomy apartment. And, also so nice to have a friend who will help you out as she did.

I am grateful for the nice day and my ability to reach my goals on Branded Surveys today so I can receive my payment on Sunday evening.

I am thankful for the trees, shade and blooms. My husband who does things I never expect. Chilly and his unique habits. The fact he is here.

I'm so glad your son and daughter came by with the baby and that you had a wonderful visit.
I'm glad you can work with Suduko. I'll leave the puzzle to people like you. I tried it and can't do it. I'm sure by now, you finished that book too.

I had a very busy day and I am thankful that I got so much done, and even posted tonight. I am trying to make more time to hop on myLot. I am thankful for my dog jenny because she came with me today and was a perfect companion! You are blessed to have a friend like that who cleans your tub!
