Frugal Shopping: Thrift Store Haul all this for $7

After lunch, we swung by the thrift store. I was looking for a couch for the dogs. But everything they had was too small. Yes, that is a real problem. When you have two dogs and one of them is a hundred and sixty pounds, couch size is more important than you think.
They didn't have any couches that were big enough, but they did have some AWESOME deals on clothes in the child's size. So she lucked out and scored big. The best deal is probably the brand new with tags Children's Place Sweater that retails for $30 plus dollars, which I got for under a dollar or so. I have mentioned before that the thrift store that we regularly go to doesn't have prices on most of their clothes, so it's always kind of a surprise when I get to the register.
But that's beside the point.
Today I scored two short-sleeved shirts, a pair of spandex shorts for under her dresses, a pair of uniform shorts for school, a pair of leggings, and the sweater mentioned above for just under $7.
Not too shabby if you ask me.

That sounds like a great deal on everything! Our thrift stores prices seem to be much higher.
I have that tie dyed blanket too!

Its Dozer (our great dane)'s blanket lol.
I don't go to the big thrift stores like goodwill because they are almost as expensive as the regualr stores.
I am super excited about the sweater. Such a good deal.

Oh we don't either - for one we don't have one near us. We just have a local thrift store...but the prices have seemed to gone up.

they had a sale where you could get a whole bag of books for a dollar. but i didnt have the patience to go through all the books

That is a great deal. Not having prices on things could be a big surprise especially when you get to the register and find you don’t have enough money. I hope you find a couch for the dogs soon
