Week 4 (Month One Complete) at Goodwill

Last week was a bit crazy, but productive week at Goodwill. I still chomped at the bit to maintain my February goal to clear two blue bins and work my way up. Day by day, I get better with speed and inching closer to reach that set goal. I only count if I cleared two full bins by myself. If I have less than a full bin, or another processor had left me for me from the other day, I'll work on it first and count it as half or something more. From to the bin and then down to the bottom, every single day. Though I didn't reach my goal of 2 bins, I hope to accomplish it by the end of this long working weekend ahead. Last Sunday, I only cleared 1.5 bins and did one hour of recovery. Last Wednesday, due to missing my bus and being an hour late for work, I managed to cleared 1.25 bins. On Thursday, I've gotten closer with 1.65 bins. This past Saturday, I've gotten a bit closer at 1.75 bins. As for bridge support, my brother had spoken to Danielle last week twice, and had sent her a couple of IEPs and a letter from a neurosurgeon when I was three. I've also gotten a letter from my PCP and texted the photo to Danielle before she had an intake meeting with my local DD board last Thursday. I hope this paperwork helps since I've gotten two months left with her for job retention before the close would be close with Jamie in April. I don't know what happened during that meeting, but I'll probably find out from her on Thursday when she visits me at work. Right now, I do know, that both Danielle and my brother are looking to see, if I'll be losing my Social Security benefits now that I'm working. I hope not. But I hope to know more later this week. That's about it on my end so far. I'll keep you posted and check in with you guys tomorrow before and after my doctor's appointment to do a major catch-up round on posts. See you then.

If you're making below what SS requires to keep your benefits, you won't lose them. I hope that's the case. You're doing well with the bins. I'm sure Danielle will be happy with your progress.

She is for sure, Valerie. That's what my local SS said too. At least that's one least worry to have. Thanks Valerie.

You can earn quite a bit of money before you lose your benefits. Good luck.
