Although this book was written for the Y/A ,Young Adult ,readers market, I really enjoyed reading it. The plot was good and the characters were interesting.
The main characters are Zara and Adnan who are two teenagers who have been friends for most of their lives. Now they are at sixth form , the people around them think that they should be getting together romantically. So when Adnan posts on social media that he and Zara are an item, Zara wonders what is going on.
It turns out that Adnan has a new girlfriend, Cami, and he was writing about her but she told him to take the post down because she had not told her father about them yet. So rather than removing the post , Adnan changed the girl`s name to Zara.
This pleased Zara`s parents so much that Zara kept up the pretence for their sake. Her parents had been having a few problems and the thought of Zara and Adnan becoming a couple seemed to cheer them up.
However neither of them could have imagined the problems that having a fake romance was going to cause.

@lazydaizee - I hope so but I doubt. Young people are pretty selfish.

@LadyDuck This is very true and a couple of the young people in this story were a bit self centred.

I think that maybe the characters were a bit too nice, but maybe their niceness will influence the young readers that this book was written for.

It is because most of the time the characters are so innocent. The girl in this story only wanted to please other people.

I typically don't read YA but some can be very interesting I prefer when they have paranormal romance to it since that is more of my own jam. I finished reading a book last night it was a mob romance and a 3 book standalone series and I'm reading the 3rd book today.

@lazydaizee I’m exclusively to online amazon but store can requirements through Amazon sicne amazon is my publisher for copies of my books. Other wise people order them online for a physical or digital copy. Many people have kindle Unlimited which makes my book free to read and I earn based off the pages they read. I do make a good amount some months I sell more than others and I’m releasing my second book at the end of this month. That is now 28 days till release day.

I did enjoy it even though the target audience was teenagers and I am now well into middle age.

@lazydaizee That's ok. It may have been the target audience but anyone can still enjoy. I know there are books from my childhood I'd love to read again because they made me happy. That's the main thing.

@VivaLaDani13 Childhood books are fun to read and they remind us of when we were young.
