I have a sweet tooth and jelly beans is in my list of sweet goodies that I enjoy. As the word suggests jelly beans are made of gelatin a substance that one gets from animals. And so those who think it is a not a non veg should think again Gelatin is good for one's hair growth and nails. The Collagen in it helps maintain the elasticity of the skin and bones. I am not at all interested in being vegetarian or vegan, I often use gelatin to make panna cotta or puddings, I know it's not vegan, people who cares can use agar-agar, or Guar gum.

@allknowing I am surprised that in our modern era people do not search the Internet when they want to find alternative products. I have agar-agar in my pantry.

Ick I didn’t know that’s what they are made with

. I do eat things with jello and marshmallows in them so I don’t think I’d stop eating jelly beans either but I rarely eat them. I’m not much of a fan of them.
