Oh, that's sad to hear for jazz musicians.... Though I have some music friends who also have passed away in young age....

Never heard of the guy, although I am sure with such association I have probably heard some of his work. The name simply doesn't ring a bell for me. Nonetheless, I hope he rests in peace.
