We have a bit of a "relaxed" work space sometimes, and that being said, most of the time when it comes to cracking a beer in the office during work hours, I am typically the one that shakes his head no. But from time to time, in the last hour or so, especially if it has been a particularly rough day we may do just that. Crack a beer. We're not in production. We are in sales. And while it is probably against company policy as a whole—we are prone in our small branch office to do whatever the hell we want to do. And sometimes that means, we crack a beer. In fact, we always have beer in our fridge. Just in case we decide we want to...crack a beer. It's not like we are going to sit here and have a party or start getting all wild or out of hand. We are grown men and we can handle our liquor and one or two beers... That we crack... Are not going to make a hill of beans worth of a difference in our abilities or performance and the place sure won't go to hell if we do it. Crack a beer. So, I am sitting here waiting for the Spee-Dee guy to show up to pick up our packages while the boss stepped out 15 minutes early, my other coworker is out on a personal day, and the warehouse guy is out with an injury. Screw it. It's Miller Time and I frankly don't give a damn. While I sit here waiting, having been forced into a grueling day considering my circumstances, I am deserving to sit here, in the office and... Crack a beer.
