Baby that was inside of an auto that was stolen found safe in Pennsylvania

An 11 month old baby whose gender was not mentioned had been a passenger in an auto that was stolen by a driver whose gender was not mentioned in the story in Upper Darby Pennsylvania on Wednesday evening.
The good news is that the 11 month old baby was found safe and sound in the streets of Upper Darby safe and sound.
The police in Upper Darby are searching for the auto that was stolen from the owner of the auto.

Now this strikes me as odd. What was the baby doing alone in the car? Obviously since the car was stolen no one was around and the baby was alone inside. I am glad the child was found but what really happened? Where were the parents?

Good question where the parents were since it is possible that the parents were carjacked by the car thief and they could not take the child with them when the carjacker forced them to leave their auto.
