I think Chris Cornell from Soundgarden and Audioslave, who learned the concept from Andy Wood from Mother Love Bone said it right when he said, "You just keep writing the songs."
Good, bad, doesn't matter. Because some will be bad, some will be good, and some will be really good. But you can't find the really good ones unless you take the time to write the bad and good ones.
Not that I am a musician even remotely close to the two guys I mention here, it is part of my own fun when I sit down to play and write and mostly just have fun.
Because I don't do this thing professionally. It's just a fun hobby for me. Sharing is simply something I enjoy doing as well.
And thus, something I sat down to write and record a couple of Sundays ago. Nothing special. Nothing fancy. Nothing particularly good. Just something that was fun to do and nothing more.
Let me know what you think.

Never crossed my mind. I always appreciate the compliments. At the same time I know my music would never make the cut in most circles. I like being in my little corner with a big enough audience that is makes me smile, and make just enough money from it to make it worth my time, even if money is not the reason I do it.

One thing I never expect is that anyone might ever want to use any of my songs—although it would be nice. I just have as much fun as I can with it and am fine to maintain it as a hobby and enjoy sharing what I do.
None of them are particularly an "honest" attempt. lol
