Today, I awoke very early. I made homemade pork and beans before leaving the house; mind you, this was a first for me. Of course, it makes me think of my mother, who first prepared this dish for my siblings and me. I often forget to ask my mum to make this meal. She sadly departed away so quickly. Now, I am trying to cook decent meals for the family. Do you have any recent food cravings? Are there certain meals that bring up certain memories for you?

I promised to my old man to take good care of his family and my mom is aware of this when she still alive. I love cakes but do not how make one or two. It is not my cup of tea.

During the cold weather, homemade noodles is the best in the house. I have not do some experiment with this idea. Speaking of having dried noodles, I am an expert of doing it and we call it as 'pancit canton.'

I tried making homemade pork and beans but didn't come up with my expectations so I rather have hunts pork and beans in cans.

Lasagna, I loved how my grandmother prepared them. I make them, my niece and my husband always say that they are "like those of my grandmother", I do not think so.

We buy canned pork and beans. I didn't know anyone who made it at home. What beans do you use? What other ingredients are in it?

It is nice to know how to make one. I only use white beans and some cubed pork meat. You can put some ground black pepper, tomato sauce, tomato paste, and sugar. Then, you have all the needed for a homemade pork beans more than a can of it.
