A husky who is either male or female was seen running on the California Highway 710 in Commerce on Wednesday evening when drivers made the decision to contact the California Highway Patrol (CHP) to ask them to take charge and take care of the dog. The drivers who are on the highway were able to trap the Husky by stopping the loose dog near the highway divider. Some of the drivers showed some compassion for the dog by giving the dog some water from a bowl after the dog was placed on a leash until the state police came to take the dog to animal control shelter in Downey. This story is kind of bittersweet since the dog was wearing a collar. The animal shelter officials are hoping that the owner of the dog comes to reunite with his or her pet soon. I am in agreement with you since it is interesting to learn that the motorist on the highway used compassion for the dog.

That is very true since when my relatives and myself have to move from one home to another, it is an adventure to put them inside a car and take them to their new home.

That is what I was thinking that the dog could have been killed by the motorists on the highway since the incident took place around midnight.

It's heartwarming to hear that drivers on California Highway 710 showed compassion and took action to help the Husky that was running loose on the highway. It's always encouraging to see people coming together to help animals in need. However, it's also a reminder of the importance of responsible pet ownership. Hopefully, the dog's owner will be reunited with their pet soon, and steps will be taken to ensure that the dog is kept safe and secure in the future.

At least there are some kind people in California who showed compassion taking care of the dog since a lot if videos in the area show police cars chasing crooks.

That is a large-sized dog, and it was lucky no car hit it while it was running loose there.

I am in agreement with you that the size of the dog was huge since I used to own two huskies who are no longer with me.
