Frugal Shopping: Snack Guy Haul 3.14.2023

When we got done with work today, we stopped by the Dollar General and then went by and saw a friend. As we were leaving the friends house, I decided since we had a little bit of cash, we should swing by "snack guy" aka the dent and bent store that I have talked about a few times here.
I only had a ten in cash, and that's all he accepts for payment so it became a kind of game to see what all I could get for under ten dollars.
-Bake and Brak Pillsbury Chocolate Chip Cookie dough
- 3 Totinos Triple Pepperoni Pizzas
-16 oz Jimmy Dean Hot Sausage
-26.5 oz of Just Add Water Mashed Potatoes, which are honestly the best "instant" mashed potatoes I have ever had
-Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls
-6 count of Smores Flavored Hot Chocolate
Based on the current prices I could find online, these groceries at full retail price according to local stores would be $40.63. We paid $7.75 .
That's a savings of $32.88!
Pretty good deal if you ask me!
I think after I go to the ATM tomorrow we might go back by and stock up on pizzas and sausage.
I'm going to try to link the video I took of the stuff we scored at snack guy, maybe it'll work.

@thislittlepennyearns George and I do the same. We may have the extra cash, but we try to live like we don't. Chilly causes us sticker shock. But, if it means he doesn't have his own private apartment in the ground (grave) we deal with it. We want him around as long as he's willing. But, it's still great, with rising prices, you're able to still find good buys.

I always live and shop like we are on a budget, unless its a splurge day. That way when we want to splurge we have the extra money for extra stuff.

@thislittlepennyearns Definitely so. I have a idea for you with the cookie dough I saw it on Pinterest take it and flip over a muffin tin form the dough around it and bake it then when done you have a cookie bowl you can put ice cream in

@porwest Well on my main page, I do a lot of goofing, a lot of stuff on the dogs and kids. And I wanted to make a cooking/food/frugal/stock up on the other tiktok.
