And it is as if I had never watched it! I turned to mylot for a second and suddenly I remembered the conversation I just had with @DaddyEvil I had some tender beans steaming on the range. I ran. I was wondering whether I would catch them al dente or would they be as our mothers cooked them, gray and mushy. I could just get there in time. And I had a nice dish of tender green bean with butter and salt. Before, while I was preparing them, I had eated yet another piece of goat cheese. I home some of it will last until Sunday for Claudia. I´m in the first chapter of the first season. And I will watch it all. I know the plot but I love the dialogue, the dresses, the whole situations. I remember that many years ago we watched once a week a show by the BBC. It was called "Upstairs, downstairs". I´d love to watch it again. Have you seen any of those serials?

I'm glad you caught the beans before they were green mush. I used to watch a comedy from England about a woman who thought she was better than everyone else... Mrs. Bucket, I believe was her name... only she wanted everyone to pronounce it Bouquet. It was really funny.

BBC shows are almost always very good. The beans were delicious. And I did not make too much.

@marguicha I watch some of their nature shows sometime, too. I enjoy them... I'm glad you enjoyed the beans, too. I would have made too many and just heated them up in the microwave later.

@DaddyEvil I don´t trust the microwave for many things although I confess that it is wonderful to reheat worms But everything that has wheat turns out soft

I haven't seen them but by all accounts they are very entertaining. I love those shows set in years gone by.

I loved Downton Abbey. I don't think I've seen Upstairs, Downstairs.
