It is almost like drinking strawberry ice cream.

I had eaten a tiny goat cheese sandwich for breakfast. And coffee of course (no milk, no sugar). Then, for luch, I steamed a rather big amound of very tender green bean and I ate them with slat and butter. I was not hungry but I wanted something sweet. So I got out of the deep freezerone serving of strwberries (just the right amount to make a strawberry smoothie) placed then in the jar, added two medium teaspoons of sugar and milk. When I started to blend it, I thought my poor blender would break into pieces. The strwberries were hard rock. But finally, the faithful mini pimer won and the sound changed as the milk turned pink. I washed the mini pimer and brought the smoothie here. And I drank a big amount! Friends, my belly got iced. And the front part of my head started to ache! I knew it would soon be over. But I wonder how is it that a woman my age still has problems with food that is either to hot or too cold. I should have learned by now I hope that as I left the smoothie at my side to thaw, while I mylot, I will now have a wonderful and healthy drink. I have eaten protein, some carbs (not much), some fat and veggies and fruit. Good for me.

I know. The last time I burned my palate to pieces was when I made a sort of crab pie. You should have smelled it! And Humberto burned his mouth the other day with my oeufs en cocotte although I said, careful, they are just out of the oven. I guess even he helped taking the pots off the oven.

Sounds so yummy! Frozen strawberries in the blender are so loud. I usually defrost them a bit first in the microwave or in the counter ahead of time.

That's good! I also plan to egg some protein and more veggies and fruit to shed some weight.
