Yesterday's trip to the little Tesco.

So, I didn't go to the little Tesco at the usual time yesterday because Andre Rieu was on This Morning with Philip and Holly. We don't usually watch This Morning because we don't like the presenters, but we watched part of it yesterday because of Andre Rieu being on. After Andre had been on we turned it over to BBC1 ready for Homes Under the Hammer, so I didn't go shopping then because I didn't want to miss Homes Under the Hammer either! So I went to the little Tesco in the afternoon instead, after Home and Away had been on. Mum gave me her list, her Tesco club card, discount voucher for the TV magazine and £40 in cash, one £20 note and two £10 notes. She told me to treat myself aswell. It was quite warm out. When I got to the shop the basket I tried to get was hooked up to the basket below it and I had to prize them apart! I got 2 TV magazines as usual, then I got a bounty bar for my step-dad and I got an aero for me and also some kit kats for me. Then I got some easy peelers, red grapes and strawberries. I got 2 boxes of Alpen cereal with no added sugar, one for me and one for my Mum, and I got some chocolate eclairs for my Mum and step-dad. Then I looked at Mum's list and saw it said plain pringles which I'd already gone past, so I went down the aisle I'd already been down to get the pringles. Then I got 2 bottles of milk and then I went to pay. As I was waiting in a small queue I saw some soft rabbit toys and yellow chick toys for Easter. I thought the rabbit toys were particularly cute! I paid and set off for home. It was getting a little bit blustery but it was still quite warm. When I got home I unpacked the groceries and then I went into my bedroom and did some reading while eating some of my areo. What are you all up to? I hope you are well. Have a good day.

We've been buying grapes lately and enjoying them.

By little Tesco do you mean Tesco Metro? I go there everyday but they're annoying me quite a bit at the moment I have to work at 10.45pm and leave my house at around 10.20 so I can get some food from tesco opposite my work. They are supposed to shut at midnight but have lately been shutting sooner so they're closed when I get there Other days they're open...I hate that they don't keep to the same time.

By little Tesco I mean Tesco Express. Is that the same thing? I'm sorry they are annoying you. Maybe they close earlier these days because of the lockdowns and COVID and stuff like that?

@sharonelton yes, I call the express little tesco too...as opposed to the big shop. I think they close when they want because they're now staffed by idiots rather than the old staff I knew. Opposite the tesco is my hotel. We used to give the old staff discount on the best rooms and let them go in the pool/steam room/jacuzzi for cut price. Then they all seemed to go and were replaced by students which most of them are idiots.

@Mike197602 Oh, dear, that sounds awful. You don't want a shop that is staffed by idiots!

You went to the corner shop for a doorstop? Bread, milk and a doorstop. Not something you hear every day!
