Baby boomers will certainly remember those days when we would enter a phone booth, drop a coin for the dial tone and call somebody. Phone booths were common sights along the road as smartphones were yet to be invented at that time.

@florelway no. I used card in 100 or 200 denomination. It's a lot of work to .ake international call from a phonebooth. I need to enter the card number

@rakski Yes, I remembered that card, but the red phone only used coins 25 centavo.coin.

We still have some here, but you can use your credit card to pay, no more coins needed.

Yup! Only I usually wasn't carrying coins so I had to call collect and pay for the call when the bill came in for it.
