How does it feel to be sluggish?

I've been sluggish all day because of my own laziness. Would you blame me? Today is my day off. I am therefore relishing my entire day of inactivity. This post of mine was a labor of love for me to compose. Personally, I believe that having these feelings is normal. I also blame the hot weather for making me drowsy, which is why I slept all day. Have you ever been a couch potato? Image Credit: 3.bp.blogspot.com

That is a "normal" way to feel on your days off work... When I still worked, there were days I wouldn't get out of bed... Pretty would harass me until I got up, got dressed and took her shopping or helped her with something in the house... I hope you're enjoying your time off.

That's okay to be sluggish sometimes. We all have lazy days and of course we need those kind of days too when we are tired with busy schedule.

@Icydoll Indeed. I am so energetic for today. Later, I will be going to deal with my online students. I checked my schedules and am so loaded with classes online.

I can feel you. Despite living in Baguio City, I am still grateful that the weather is not too hot. For the reason that the wind breeze is cool.

Hello my dear friend, We all have days when we feel lazy and don't get much done. It's good to have a lazy day every now and again. I had an unplanned lay in this morning, really needed it and now i'm two hours behind on everything, I shall leave the housework until tomorrow and just do everything else on my list

I'm glad that despite my sentiment staying dormant for the day, you can still sense it. I need to motivate myself to accomplish anything as of right now. I had just finished preparing the lunchtime meal. I need to run some things in town and get back as soon as I can because it's too early for lunch.

I try not to be. But even I have my days where I feel drained and over all miserable. So, I can understand.

@Shavkat My doctor says the same thing. And I ignore him. Doctors, at least the ones I've delt with, can't be bothered to get to know me and actually listen. There's a fine line between doing something that's healthy and doing something that could be dangerous. I have cerbal palsy, and while I can stand up and "walk" I can only do it for short periods of time. I will either tire quickly, or I won't feel the warning signs I've done to much and my leg will give out. It's technically paralized.

I need to do my walking daily though. I do not want sometimes but it is a doctor's advice. I think it is still a good thing for me to do it religiously.

It is your day off so enjoy it however you want to. I have my days when I don't feel like doing anything. I just do what I want to do and then I will think of something that kind of needs to be done so I do it. Then I go back to being lazy until I decide to get something else done. That goes on all day but I am only doing the things that I want to do.

While I worked at my prior company, I never stopped working. I had never taken a day off before, but I was now required to do so once a week. We too need time off from work, so I do not think that is a bad thing.

I felt that days ago and I need to work. I don't want to sign documents, I don't want to talk about work and I only want to talk about rumors lol. But if that's the way I felt good I did it.

I am also not into talking about jobs as much as possible. For me, job concerns should be left at work and face the concerns at home.
