Why Do People Argue With Trolls?

You are not going to win or change their view point. Hey, it may have taken a while but I know longer argue with trolls.
It can be funny but most get all pissed off. They not in it to win or show you a better way. They there to laugh at how worked up you get. That is my specialty. I get worked up like no other to where you can almost beat a ttoll, except you can never beat a troll.
How do you beat a troll stay calm and make them laugh. They just stop and leave you alone. Try it, troll me and I will give an example.

I think it's not worth waste of time on a Troll,you don't have to give any response.just leave them alone,you go on with your own way.It's sensible to dismiss trolls.

That is the practical way, people ask how do you know its a troll. Oh they will make you know real quick.

Trolls are horrible, as I have dealt with a lot of them over the last few years. It is really hard to ignore them, but I found out from experience that it is best not to say anything to them as they just want attention. Once you ignore them they move on, as they don’t like it when anyone ignores them. They aren’t worth arguing with and trying to have the last word. Believe me, I have learned what not to do and things are better now because I have been ignoring them.

@crossbones27 The thing is is that they want attention so when someone talks back to them they love it. It just makes things worse when they are talked back to. I want to make them as angry as I can.

That is the best way to go but I like having fun back but if they truly bothering you, ignore the crap out of them and it infuriates them.

I'm not smart enough to realize I'm talking with a troll until they keep going and I think they didn't understand... I will keep trying to correct them until it finally dawns on me that they're just trying to piss me off. Then I ignore them.

I am kind of the same way. Some are good though, they be like uh huh, uh huh, you make such a great point and then its like they figure out what to say they know that will piss you off so bad. Yeah, its best not to argue with a troll.

@DaddyEvil I am OK, I guess. I am staying out of firing range for now and not from my boss but family. lol
No matter what I do sometimes as far as effort to come to a compromise with people seems not to be good enough. I am sure you do not want to hear about that though.
Its so irritating though and this no one allowed to have fun rule sucks these days. I blame on inflation. People used to have fun at least, now its not allowed period because they made everything more unaffordable again. Its not my fault but I guess I am a good punching bag. You want some free punches to my face too buddy? How have you been, hopefully better than me.

It is so true, and they look for buttons to push to get people to respond. That is my weak point. If you can push my buttons, you can dominate me, but I am getting better at it I think. Slowly but surely.
