I suddenly developed pain in my left hip which I feel when I am sitting down and getting up but not while I am sitting or while I am walking. I had exerted a bit yesterday and I feel that could be the reason.
There are several pain killers but I will not take them. I have fomented with hot water and am taking some homoeopathic medicines that have no side effects and they not only reduce the pain but also help in curing. While on the other hand pain killers just deaden the pain but they do not cure.
Do you take pain killers?

Many a time home remedies is all what is required to alleviate the pain unless one has fever which could be a sign that there is an infection and for that antibiotics are prescribed.

@allknowing It hurts to exercise in the water but it also strengthens me so I do it and try to ignore my joints when they protest.

It will take time for these home remedies but they are safe

We should avoid pain killers as far as possible but doctors generously prescribe them.

@allknowing Our personal doctor is against all medications, he suggests to avoid unless it is absolutely necessary.

Of late, I'm suffering from lower back pain too. It hurts me only when I'm bending and get back to a normal position. Otherwise, it doesn't hurt much. I'm just applying pain balm when it's too painful and it gives me relief for some time. I have to check with my homoeopathy doctor tomorrow.

Those are mild pains but when it comes to pains associated with joints one needs to alleviate them in other ways

I seldom take pain killers, unless I have a really bad headache.
