There is so much in foods that heal . Sesame is one such that is loaded with nutrients. We make ladoos. The seeds are washed, sun dried and roasted dry. A three string jaggery syrup is made and the roasted seeds are then added to the syrup with a bit of cardamom powder The stuff is then rolled into ladoos. They remain for days. Sesame seeds have 15 nutrients and this link below has all the details These days we have not made them at home but they are available in stores I eat two ladoos every day. The only time sesame seeds wouldn't be healthy for someone is if they are allergic to them. Then it might just kill them.

@allknowing Not always, allergies to food are only triggered once your body has enough of it in your system. It also depends on if they have contract allergies or a consumption allergy. My 8-year-old has a consumption allergy so being around sesame would bring on an allergic reaction but eating it might. but to what degree will his reaction to it wouldn't know he's never hated them. Most people will food allergies only find out by actually eating it unless they are tested before for having food allergies then they might know to avoid it and other foods that might have it.

I sprinkle sesame seeds on savory cheese biscuits that I prepare for appetizers. I also add them to cucumber salads.

Yes, sesame seeds are very nutritious. I love to make glutinous rice balls with sesame as fillings.

I remember those sweet goodies from Chowking or is it KFC? They're loaded with delicious sesame seeds too. But I haven't tasted ladoos yet. If they taste sweet, then I would like them. Thanks for sharing.

@allknowing Oh yes, that's what I mean, the syrup. The filling I mean it has something inside.
