Tuesday Afternoon Brief

It's been a busy day. One I was behind with when I got up. I planned to go swimming today, but I woke up when I should have been walking into the YWCA to swim. Yes, I overslept, waking at 5:30 this morning. I've been on the go since. I had Bible Study this morning at 10 AM and left late for that too as my phone needed charging. I was on time, but only just, for me. I like to be early. I got there with ten minutes to spare. I got home with the intention of getting my steps. My phone was again almost dead, so I still haven't gotten my steps today and I will be leaving in an hour for Writer's Guild. And you tell me I get up too early. I'm so far behind, I haven't done anything I need to do. I even have the Bingo numbers from another person who had them. When I checked my step count, I had just over 2000 steps for the day. I have a long way to go to get them, and might not accomplish it until I get home tonight. I'm not complaining. This is not a vent. I'm only telling you this is a late and uncommon day for me. I still had a wonderful time at Bible study this morning, met a new person who was newly retired and got home to try to get things done. I have time to get at least one round of steps before my friend shows up to pick me up for Writer's Guild. I have the blurb for Where Eagles Soar trimmed down and sounding good. Two people gave me input on the blurb, one from myLot and one from my building. I used both suggestions and tightened both up to make a good back cover blurb. I'll read that tonight at Writer's Guild. That's how my day started. How is your day shaping up? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me. It's time for me to get some steps.
