Have You Ever Jinxed Yourself by Speaking Too Soon?

I have, and recently! I thought the Wi-Fi issues with my new laptop had been resolved with a fresh installation of Windows. Then it ran some updates, and I woke it from sleep mode to find that the Wi-Fi had gone out yet again. Even my stubbornness has to have limits, I suppose. We took it back to the store and ordered the one I was originally looking at. The price difference was less than I was expecting to thanks to a surprise discount, and the new one should be ready for pickup at the store on Thursday. At least it was still within the return period and I didn't have to deal with shipping it out for service. The turnaround time for that is apparently around six weeks now.

Yes, I'm sure I have. My grandson has a USB that gives the Wi-Fi a boost. He had to use it on the new customized computer he finished building last night. Everything worked great but the Wi-Fi was janky. The USB made it work and now all is good.

Thank goodness it did it now and not later. We have to be so careful these days. I just bought two things that are no good and I am screwed Yuki. Glad the new one will be in soon.

I think I am. That is why I do not tell to others if planning big time for myself. I will just tell them if I had or attained it.
