Open House

Most of you will know what an open house is. An open house is where guests just walk in uninvited and help themselves to the hospitality.
Mine is not an open house but I do love to have visitors and guests on invitatioin But one guest thinks it is an open house and that is Blackie the cat.
After Peppie has his fish I keep the cooked chicken feet and the dry feed in two separate bowls and the bowls are there till the entire bowls are emptied.
Blackie walks in and out of our house umpteen number of times and helps herself merrily Peppie does not stop her.
Is yours an open house?

@allknowing Yes, the big one on he left is Gevi. The very small one on the right his sister and the other his father.

No, my house is not, but I often catch my grandkids leaving food on bowls outside the house for stray cats. I told them not to do it, because there would be nothing left for our own pet cats. Sometimes, they listen, sometimes they don't. They have soft hearts for stray animals.

@allknowing They do, but often they give so much to the stray ones and have so little left for the next meal of their pet cats. So, I have to buy again, which sometimes is not in the budget.

In our house Peppie gets his fish first as fish is not easily available here although it is cheaper than the dry feed. Both Peppie and Blackie eat from the same bowls.
Your kids must know that home cats must eat first.

Anyone is welcome in my house as long as I like that person or creature. But definitely it's not an open house yet. Blackie is lucky to have your house. Peppie doesn't bother as he has more than enough

I can well imagine that 'open house' to a cat is a bit different to 'open house' for humans.
