Saturday 8th April 23 talk I : The Fan cleaning day

So time for some Saturday chit chat.
This ceiling fan in one of our rooms had a thick coat of accumulated dust on it since months.
It's cleaning was due but getting postponed due to one or the other reason.
Finally yours truly decided to finish the task today.
The fan was very dirty.
I first of removed with a feather cloth with a handle.
Then rubber with cloth with detergent powder and antiseptic.
Finally a dry cloth rub.
I did for another room fan which was not as bad but needed a bit.
I haven't captured the end result but bith the fans look much cleaner.
At times, things are worth the effort.
Next weekend, de cluttering would be revived although at a manageable pace.
So what's happening at your end?

In our current place, we have to clean more frequently.
In previous place, it was needed at a lesser frequency but cleaning there was tougher for two rooms.

I wore a mask.
I did not vigorously rub when doing dry dusting.
I had a brush with Spongy end.
I might share its picture.
Slowly I let the stubborn and sticky dust on to the Bedsheet below and then put that in a garbage bag.
Then the wet and again dry.
But yes, with allergy things can be tough.
I know this because I got an Eye Ulcer back in my 8th class due to heat and dust allergy and had to undergo a minor eye surgery in the right eye.
So yes, you need care with the allergy and no bravado !
