Thanks to the teamwork of the Brodhead Fire Department (BFD) and the Mount Vernon Fire Department (MVFD) who answered an emergency call on Monday night from a concerned dog owner who reported that two hunting dogs fell down 60 feet down to a cave in Rockcastle County Kentucky..
The firefighters of the MVFD and the BFD worked as a team to lower a rescuer in the cave by using a rope technician to rescue both dogs and return them to the surface.
The good news is that both dogs are safe and sound. They were returned to their owners who are happy to reunite with their owners who really appreciated the fine work of the firefighters.

@Deepizzaguy I watched two videos earlier on elk being helped. One had fallen through the ice and the other one was a bull elk lossing one of his antlers as he was jumping across a fence. Then his other antler got hung up in the fence. I believe both of them were in Utah.

I think that the dogs are in good shape since there was no reports of the dogs being injured in the fall.

I wonder if there was water at the bottom of the cave, that cushioned their fall, or maybe it was not just a straight drop, as a straight drop of sixty feet would have surely injured the dogs.
