Even though this incident on April Fool's Day in Nacogdoches Texas, the actions of a female cowgirl who was inside the Banita Creek Hall who showed calm and courage to remove an opossum who had entered the country bar just before closing time. The name of the female cowgirl who grabbed the opossum by his tail with her bare hand was not mentioned in the report that was filmed by patrons inside the bar. Thanks to the free publicity that the social media sites received , the cowgirl whose late name is White is being called "Opossum Queen" by her admirers. I do not know about your feelings of grabbing an opossum with your bare hands and getting the animal of a building, I do admire Ms. White for not showing fear of getting of an opossum from inside a bar without showing any fear toward the animal. I had an opposum I called Harvey that came to visit me on my porch, I miss seeing him, I do not know if I would have ever handled him though, However, how rude of her to get rid of the animals and not offer him a drink

You have a good point there that the animal was not offered a drink inside of the bar.

The young lady who grabbed the opossum by the tail must have been raised in an area where handling wild animals is the norm for her.

I don't like to touch wild animals. Especially those I am not familiar with.

In my former neighborhood where there was a huge empty backyard, there was a few possums in the area.

That is true since the female must grown up in a farm and she has the courage to handle wild animals like the possum.

I'm glad the possum was not harmed. They are good for the yard. They eat lots of bugs and things.

@Deepizzaguy lol Yes, they are good for a yard. They eat vegetables, fruits, insects, carrion, and small animals.

I don't know much about opossums but I guess they could give a nasty bite.

I know about opossums a little bit from the Warner Brothers cartoons. They were animals that liked to bite their prey.

Funny story, and from Texas of course. I would rather not touch the tail or any other part of this animal. But we do what we have to do.
